Ho Chi Min’s House

December 28, 2011

One of the unexpected places that I visited in Nakhon Phanom was at Ban Na Chok where you can go and see Ho Chi Min’s house. Apparently the village used to be a safe haven for the ex-premier of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam while he was fighting for the independence of his country from 1924-1931. Ho Chi Minh was able to stay in Thailand as a guest of H.M. The King. The house contains some personal memorabilia belonging Ho Chi Minh including his writing desk.
