Don Wai Riverside Market (ตลาดน้ำวัดดอนหวาย) has been around for over a hundred years. However, it is only in recent years that it has started to become popular with day-trippers from Bangkok. From Bangkok it takes less than an hour to drive to Wat Don Wai in Nakhon Pathom Province. The market was originally famous for the boiled ducks, but now there is a much greater variety of food. Not just curries and snacks, but also Thai sweets. You can buy food at the market and then take it on one of the boat trips down the river.
