We normally only see objects from the ground. The only time that we see houses and roads fromabove is when we fly in an airplane. However, with Google Earth, we can now explore Thailand and the rest of the world for free! In this lesson, students learn to recognize objects from above. Some objects, like swimming pools and football stadiums, might be obvious. However, for other objects, the students really have to think out of the box. They really need to ask themselves, what will these objects look like from space? To interpret these photographs, the students need to look for as many clues as they can.
ส่วนใหญ่แล้ว พวกเรานั้นมักจะมองสถานที่ต่างๆจากระดับพื้นดิน แต่บางครั้งเมื่อเราเดินทางโดนเครื่องบิน เราจะเห็นบ้านหรือตึกจากบนอากาศ ดังนั้นโปรแกรม Google Earth เปิดโอกาสให้เราดูสิ่งต่างๆจากมุมบนฟ้า ของตึก บ้าน และสถานที่ต่างๆในเมืองไทยและทั่วทุกมุมโลกโดยไม่ต้องเสียค่าใช้จ่ายใดๆ ในชั่วนี้ นักเรียนจะได้เรียนรู้และรับชมสถานที่ต่างๆจากบนฟ้า บางสถานที่เช่นสระว่ายน้ำและสนามฟุตบอลนั้นอาจจะง่ายแก่การบ่งบอก แต่หากเป็นสถานที่อื่นๆที่ไม่ชัดเจน คุณครูอยากให้นักเรียนศึกษาและคิดดูอย่างถี่ถ้วน ต้องถามตัวเองว่าสถานที่ต่างๆนั้นจะเหมือนที่เราดูจากระดับพื้นดินไหม? ดังนั้นนักเรียนต้องดูให้ละเอียดถี่ถ้วนโดยสังเกตุจากส่วนประกอบต่างๆที่เราสามารถมองเห็นได้จากบนฟ้า
